I am a second-year PhD student in statistics at Duke University. Currently, I am developing my research interests in the fields of Bayesian optimization, Gaussian processes, and reinforcement learning. Before joining Duke, I worked with Professor Yu-Jen Cheng and Professor Chiung-Yu Huang on a paper about improving estimation of the transformation model by leveraging external heterogeneous information.
Besides studying statistics, I enjoy engaging in outdoor activities and reading. I am also passionate about various social issues including environmental sustainability and social equity.
